Fairly recently someone asked where they could find information on racecourses, such as the length of the run in, uphill run etc.
There were some very useful answers but try as I might I cannot find the topic again and I'd like to create some links to the web sites suggested.
Sorry to be a pain but could someone direct me to the topic again please.
TIA

Help requested on course information
sportinglife website (http://horses.sportinglife.com/Courses/)as a page in the racing section, that gives a description of uk courses, with links to the course website, where no doubt your get a pretty picture of the track/tracks.
i think the racing post had a better section cant really remember, not been there since they decided to screw the site up. but there will be something similar.
adrian massey might have as well.

Do remember that the course railings are moved around without peoples knowledge and standard times are a red herring. Did you know kauto star has won four KG's and each course was what I would regard as significantly different?
I am aware of that but thanks.
As I trade in-running I was looking for something easily accessible to give me the run in distance and characteristics.
I found this site, http://www.horse-results.co.uk/racecourse_uk_a-c.htm, which serves the purpose well as long as one remembers that fences and hurdles are dolled off or missed out on many occasions.
