It sounds like you are doing something wrong mate. I suspect you are not submitting the change to a keep bet.

Hi Guys

Sorry to hear about the problems today.

Quick question -

If the b/f API goes down, does this mean that the stop loss fails to kick in?

Psycho

Not 100% sure but pretty sure it wouldn't work as when the api/site go down no bets can be matched. But best you check with Support I guess.

There is no provision to stop a positon once the site goes down. Bet Angel only runs locally so if it can't reference the Betfair database there is no way of tracking or executing a stop. Curiously, Betdaq have built in a facilty to allow bets to voided if a connection is lost.

Sorry if this is a daft question but, Why does Betdaq have a .com and .co.uk site and you can't login into both only the one you sign up with.?? Also are all the markets linked in .com/.co.uk versions.?

Cheers

It does seem a bit gluey...

Everything ok here, but in the first race lost the matched volumes on the ladder for a few moments...

Seems that the website went offline for about 30 seconds just now - it looks as though it wasn't just me as people have reported it on the BF forum as well, also BA in mode 1 stopped responding but the API software was fine.

I am certain it wasn't running correctly all afternoon - I like to watch the responses like a hawk and something was certainly not correct today - as you say, don't be surprised if it goes down between now and the end of the weekend.
