Nothing like rounding the day off with a two horse race. :) Worcester 17:00.

I really enjoyed the 17:00, I just had to be ultra aggressive.

I dont know what the hells going on?? Having had my best 4 months ever without a single losing day I have had the worst week for a very very long time. Ive had a losing day every day this week and at times today felt like i did when starting out.

Gutted is an understatement

How low did it trade? I saw most of the field flash to 500+ for a millisecond but didn't see what came in!

5k at 1.01 and all the prices on the way down, hazard a guess at a 50k order?

I hope PeterLe and others had some chunky orders matched!

Ive had a decent day so far (My daughter called for a brew so missed some races..) There was a high winner called Tijori at Chepstow too..

Ive been running a test today, I went back to an old version of betangel (1.25) and a spreadsheet from that time period too. This was a time when I had my best results. At that moment in time, the setup produced lots of orders, but using the same setup today hardly produced any..I could only get orders firing in by 'relaxing' the parameters and that impacted the P&L
First impressions are that the lay price gets held artificially high these days. Its not XM as we had that when V1.25was released..(I cant see how this would be a viable strategy..unless of course it was betfair themselves  )
Anyway I wouldn't advocate going to an old version, it was only a test (Surprised it worked really...and you can see how much the new version has transformed trading - its come on leaps and bounds!)

Hope you are all having a good day too
regards
Peter

Held down as well Peterle. Try putting a few quid lay open at the off on a 3m race on a favourite of about 1.8 and ill "bet you" the price is held down at around 1.6. It will probably be continued to be held down until the last furlong. Some great opportunities after the off for a few ticks for inplay.
