Maybe due to operational hurdles from betfair's market makers? If they aren't prepared for such scenario, it's betfair's best interest to preserve that relation at the expense of their customers.

looks like a major outage. Last time it went like this it took quite a while to bring back up.

I'll often have a field day on Betdaq when Betfair is down. Will be interesting to see how many people need Betfair to seed Betdaq at times like this.
