Given the type of driven character Fergie is, I imagine he's spending his days pacing the floorboards, needing a new challenge, and might welcome a return to management, even if it's just till the end of the season!

I'm not sure who else you could replace him with though, given that the special one is spoken for. I would have thought there are managers out there with world class pedigree who would be delighted at the chance to manage United though.

United had the pick of women at the ball at the end of last season, so I don't know why they went for the one who looked like Gollum...
