Well, someone didn't like the look of his running. 20 seconds from the post, the Lay odds were up to 100/1. :evil:

I believe that McCoy typically conserves his horse's energy till the final push, meaning that the market can assume that he's out of a race when he's just biding his time before swooping past the pack.

One thing I would never call McCoy is a hold up rider. His main strength imo is that he gets every last ounce of energy out of a horse and he is especially good at it on horses that don't wish to give it.
