Tough day, had a better day yesterday. Roll on Cheltenham tomorrow, should see some seven figure markets.

Infact tomorrows card is a carbon copy of this time last year.

I did OK till bloody Kempton where I had two bad markets in a row which really took the shine off the day.

Just wondering if anybody had any thoughts as to why Top Gamble drifted so much in the 2:40pm at Cheltenham. He may well have been over hyped, but the drift seemed very strong for a class 3.

Probably because Top Gamble didn't deserve to be that price in that field (some Group horses) after winning races at Ffos Las.

Cheers. I know that these things happen, but my bank got hammered by that drift on what it usually a fairly stable market.

Yes never good when that happens. I was speaking to Switesh and he was scalping a horse in a stable market at Cheltenham, until it swung 10 ticks in the other direction. It's a cruel game sometimes.

Yes, I am scratching my head a little. The only thing is the trade bands were quite wide, so I couldn't argue that the price was being "held" around a certain point. But with the lumpy way the money moves through Cheltenham your relying on the quality of the race to keep the price in check.

Either ATR is behind even more than before or BF suspended earlier but the 12:50 at Lingfield was turned IP with 2 horses still left to load.... happened at least 5 seconds earlier than normal.

Hope nobody got caught badly there. Worth noting for future races.
