I'd like to collect market data through Bet Angel. From what I gather, this is possible through linking Bet Angel to Excel.
Examples of data I'm looking to record: date, course, race, runners, distance, volume (-10 mins), volume (-5 mins), horse, open trade price, open trade time, close trade price, close trade time.
Can this data be collected and stored on a spreadsheet linked to Bet Angel?
If so, are there any videos, articles, or forum posts explaining the process?
I'm new to Excel but willing to read-up and learn.
Thanks for any help.
Collecting And Storing Data In Excel

To my knowledge, Fracsoft supply data for Betfair markets. I was referring more to collect records of personal trading performance; a tool that records your trades and allows you to filter/analyse your performance.
For instance, you'd be able to use the tool to query your trading results when attempting to scalp at 2.00. The tool would then show your results when attempting to scalp at 2.00. 'Based on AAA number of scalp attempts at 2.00, your strike rate is BB% and your expected return is C%.'
Or, suppose you wanted to analyse your drift trade attempts between 2.00 and 2.06: the tool would then show you that, based on XXX number of drift attempts, your strike rate is YY% and your expected return is ZZ%.
Of course, you could add many more interesting filters (market/runner volume, market stability, course, etc), but I'm sure you get the idea.
Just a thought.
