Is that good odds at 1.06? (Hurricane Fly)
Surely it must drift in play - 2m over jumps??

He did drift slightly, albeit for about 1 or 2 seconds. You could have got matched at between 1.12 and 1.15, but on the whole that was rock solid

It was all lined up for the record, so only a major mistake would have caused a drift.

peter L,

i just re-read my reply and it sounds a bit sarky to me, which was not my intention at all; in particular my
edit about a drift to 1.08 with the smile thing.

i was watching the race and barely taking notice of the price, just posted the edit as reaction (happy reaction) as i am a hurricane fly and Willie Mullins fan.

i hope you did not think i was being sarky or having a dig; i was not nor did i intend to appear so.

sorry just in case.

hi to75ne
No i didn't take it to be sarky! I never even thought that for a moment.
I like to trade these pre race and then whatever profits I make, use that to take it in play. I didn't get chance to trade this before the off so just left a small lay in there.

I tried this with others such as Black Caviar and whilst Ive never had one go on to lose (as far as I can remember), quite often they do drift. I was thinking it was a cold wet muddy day in Ireland..and all you need is a bad start, hit the hedges etc

My downside was low and the potential payoff by be huge by comparison.

Cheers to75ne
Regards
Peter
