Fontwell 15:40 - That's twice in two days the starter has left them off 10 seconds before the start time. Annoying if your automating orders.

Within 10 seconds of the advertised start time sounds quite accurate to me.

Who's watch are you going on? Maybe your clock is 30 seconds out and he is starting the race 20 seconds late - ;-)

I just tried to look up what the rules are but I could only find a regulation about fines and enquiries if a race is 3 minutes or more late without good reason.

I am going by Betfair's API time or maybe it's BetAngel's time. I am not entirely sure :)

Looks at our records, it seems like the races are going off past post time today. You may want to check your clock?

Does the timer in BetAngel, get it's time from the clock on my computer?

Yes it does. And the clock on your PC can lose seconds over time so it's worth making sure you are up to date. I set mine 30 seconds or so fast just to be sure and check it regularly

Well you learn something everyday. Thanks for that, in that case my sincere apologies to the starter at Fontwell.

happens to me all the time. I tend to make a mental sync with the clock on ATR or RUK. My pc has it's own ideas about what time it should display. I have it synced with the internet time too. bizarre

Hi All, First post so be gentle !
Been on Betangel for a couple of weeks now and created an auto bot whch is doing ok so far.
Subscribed to the fast VPS service which is indeed faster at matching my bets. Only problem is the time keeping is way out. Have 2 computers and both keep pretty good time, maybe 2 seconds a day out but on the VPS server, both computers lose 17-25 seconds in the 20 minutes before EACH race !!
Have tried them seperatly on dfferent days as wll.
If I leave this program to run all day it wll be hours out !!!!
What am I doing wrong ???
Thanks in advance for any help as it's driving me mad!
