Ive enjoyed trading this in the past
A friend mentioned to me that there is campaign to get Karl Pilkington in (maybe he could be one of he two 'others' they tend to bring in towards the end?)..I think he could win it if he does!
I tend to lay the early favourite in these markets..Good Luck ! :D

I suspect he is very different to his TV persona. I really like him but pretty sure a lot of it is an act which he does very well. I saw an interview he was doing recently for his new show and he seemed to change once he realised the camera was actually rolling.

So I don't think he could keep it up 24hrs a day, I am sure he could for the challenges and to begin with. If it is all an act and he can't keep the act up it could damage his career so I think it would be a mistake for him to go in.

Then again it could just be him.

Joey Essex clear favourite, and I'm not surprised. He's an absolute forskin, but these deadheads from TOWIE and Geordie Shore seem to do really well in these realities.

This fella is so thick, he'll probably think a bush tucker trial is all about performing oral sex on a woman

Just a word of warning for any newbie traders looking to get involved with I'm a Celebrity. The liquidity is usually brilliant, but don't get excited by the current book of 97.6% and think this is a great Dutching opportunity. There are usually 2 extra contestants who go in during the show, and rumoured names would make them one of market leaders. If they both came into the jungle and were priced at 12.00, the book would become 114.26%

a bit disappointed with the prices of the two new entrants. Ive never heard of them!
Anyway, a very small green better than a loss I suppose!

Peter, I am I right in thinking you lay the favourite with a hope that the new contestants (and there popularity with the public) would help push the price of the favourite out?

Hi Steve
I just bookmake (on all entrants) as near as I can to 100% knowing that two new entrants will be introduced.
So in this case I had laid all of them for 500, when the two entrants appear you have 500 green on each of the two.
If the odds on the two new entrants had been less (i.e. it was someone more popular) you could then lay them to create a green book.
Good to use this on other reality shows too
regards
Peter

Interesting, not a strategy I'd even thought of.

Thanks for the clarification.

You need to speak to Peter Webb.
He had the same strategy on X Factor a few years ago & he probably sent his kids to private school on the back of it!!

I'm a little surprised Joey Essex is still trading at 1.57

He has to be one of the biggest bankers ever!

It's possibly the vote count that we can't see. Audience type etc?

I'd never seen Joey Essex on TV, so I looked him up on YouTube, and found this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cn4QBoexWtM

I see what you mean!

I like a little dabble in the next eviction markets, and they are usually fairly predictable, but I got caught out last night - Laila Morse was trading at 25.00 when the phone lines shut
