Apologies if these issues are raised elsewhere.
1. On opening Guardian, I notice that the Show Sidebar tickbox is unchecked, but the sidebar is visible. That means I have to check and uncheck to lose the sidebar.
2. To load my excel file I have to browse for the file (See point 3) and when I browse for files, the default extension it looks for is .xls. Obviously my Excel file contains macros, so I would like it to search for a .xl* file. At the moment I have to find the file by searching for all files.
3. Saving Guardian set up. At the moment every time I go into guardian, I change the Advanced Setting to restrict the refresh, Change the columns to improve the layout and load an Excel file (usually the same file).
It would be nice if there was a way to get Guardian to remember.
a) the preferred or last used Excel file.
b) the preferred or last used restrict refresh setup.
c) the preferred or last used column setup.
I know a and b are possible because, by accident, they have changed from the default (I think).

Thanks for the speedy response. I now have my excel file and my restrict refresh setup remembered.
It is a shame about the column setup. As I like to see Guardian and Excel on the one screen it helps to reorder the columns and squeeze them up. But it is no big deal.
In the meantime, IMO 1 and 2 are bugs, which could probably be fixed in 5 minutes.
