I have been using Bet Angel for 2 months. I am currently trialling laying the favourite in races using an automation rule in Guardian.
I have the automation set to lay the favourite 10 seconds after the official advertised start time. This is working fine.
I want to be able to, however, lay the favourite at the SP. I am trying to use the rule in Guardian "Take SP All".
I have two parts to my automation rule. The first part lays the favourite at $1.10 10 seconds before the advertised start time. 3 second after the advertised start time I fire in the second rule "Take SP All". In each case I have used this rule I notice that it does indeed change the status of my unmatched bet to Take SP, however, when the race goes in-play, my SP lay bet request is not matched.
Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.
Take SP not working
Matt
Firstly if there is no 'back' money at 1.10 then it wont get matched. Secondly the odds move that quick after the race starts then again unless there is 'back' money sitting there anymore then it wont get matched. If you were taking sp on a back bet then that would be different if you see what I mean. Try getting your second rule to fire at 'best available' but be warned this could be a lot higher than you wish. Try it in practice mode first.

You need to remember the minimum lay payout needs to be equivalent of £10 and minimum back stake £2 in whatever currency you're using otherwise it won't be put into the BSP pool.
So laying at 1.1 your stake needs to be at least £100
Huh? The minimum stake is £2spreadbetting wrote:matt1175 wrote: The first part lays the favourite at $1.10 10 seconds before the advertised start time.

Minimum stake for the exchange is £2 but for bets to be included within the BSP reconcilation process the lay liability must be at least £10. If they didn't set a limit people could effectively stick in 2p lays (£2 @ 1.01) into the BSP market to create no loss bets at certain odds etc
Ahh I didn't know that, ignore me thenspreadbetting wrote:Minimum stake for the exchange is £2 but for bets to be included within the BSP reconcilation process the lay liability must be at least £10. In Australian racing need a minimum liability $30 to get SP.
I'll put a bot up later today that does what you want.
In earlier times there was a strategy of laying the field against that SP for every single race, on the basis that in those days there was always an overround in the SP. Doesn't work any more but you are welcome to try if you want that bit as well.
