I'm trying now, to automate my tennis trading (after great success with my Lingfield all weather rules with help from you guys).
I'm not sure it will be possible using guardian alone to automate tennis due to the erratic start times of tennis, thus making it impossible for Guardian to switch to the market as tennis always runs late, sometimes hours. So the way I see it Guardian would be ready for the 8pm game when the 4pm game is starting thus probably missing both matches.
So really I need to know if it's possible to have guardian switch to a market as soon as an event goes in play, then place the required bets and their relevant offsets.
Failing that, would an Excel spreadsheet be able to do it, I've not tried automation with Excel so I have no idea, I may be way out of the park on that.
I'm not optimistic on this one, even a no chance would be greatly appreciated so I know I need to look for a new avenue.
Guardian market switching
Depends on how many markets you have loaded up and are monitoring and if your strategy relies on monitoring the market every moment.
If it does not require full time monitoring and say can be checked on every ten seconds then you could have ten markets open in guardian with a 1 second cycle rate and an "in play" condition as part of your automation. Easy peasy japaneasy.
If it can be checked on once a minute you could have 60 markets loaded up.
