Audible alert on live prices

Hi All,

Is it possible to have a wav. file play a sound when a value returns a true answer?
I have live data cells say in a horse race then record the values - early price, mid morning and just before the off. But it's difficult monitoring live prices all morning on all races looking for steamers or drifters so i'd like an audible warning so that if any prices move beyond a certain point i'd be alerted.

I'm by no means an expert with Excel so would really appreciate any help along these lines, many thanks in anticipation.
