Surprised by Lingfield today, some fairly stable markets. Taunton was very tough for me today.

Not sure sometime close to when I posted.

Found that a very difficult day personally, every time I thought I'd got onto some kind of trend it bounced and the crossover points just seemed to hold zero resistance for some reason.

Didn't lose money though so all good, in fact I think I've gone 11 days of horse trading now with only one losing day so I'm getting there.

Did anything in particular happen to the fave in the 17:00 for it to drift so sharply?

A friend who's made keen on racing texted a note, Ruffled is playing up, think before you trade.

Ok ty. I use Betdaq for pictures but I'd just got in and hadn't opened it up, my bad.

Turned the loss into a profit anyhow with it drifting so badly.

Some big gambles today, Eye Of The Tiger was the first and it won.

If there are more runners from the same trainer expect some momentum to build.

it was the drift that amazed me heavily backed in to 2.5 ish then reversed with real forced to 3.5 ish thought something on track was amiss

Just when I'm on a roll, yesterday and today come along and remind me that this is very hard!

Constant reversals are just killing me. The speed and severity make it impossible to exit and I'm at that horrible place where I'm struggling to tell what's reversed and what will come back.

Seems very difficult to find a favourite that will generally move in one direction without a 20 tick bounce followed by another steam. :?:

Worst day for ages, actually devastated with that, really thought I was getting it but turns out I was just a novice on a heater.

I'd have made less errors today if I'd just clicked buttons at random.

Its the psychology of a whipsaw that kills a lot of traders in sports or financial markets. It forces a lot of people to act irrationally. Why not take a longer term view rather than over the next 10-20 secs.
