Was anyone here trading that? Absolutely huge amounts of money being bet on Betdaq on the favourite. Over half a million matched and the price was consistantly 5 ticks or so lower than Betfair. Book was overbroke pretty much all the time before the off and massive arbing opportunity.

I think you may have just witnessed one of the best opportunities this year on any exchange. Huge difference in prices between Betfair and Betdaq.

I reckon an on course bookie was hedging into Betdaq on Oscar Whiskey and that caused the opportunity. Betdaq are 80% of the on course market.

Its the 1st feb today, I seem to recall that date is significant in some way for the Ladbrokes exchange? Is it or am I mistaken?

Probably one of the biggest amounts I've put through a Betdaq market. Shows the benefit of being ready to jump on an opportunity. I'll study the data later to see if there is anything in it.

Well I ran out of money in my account to arb between the exchanges and my banks a decent size. Usually in those situation people/bots just come in and push the price on BD back to where the BF price is but there was far too much money around for that to happen.

I'm not sure I've ever seen that much money before on BD on one horse even at Chelts. It's just a little dissapointing seeing a race like that where the money matched on BD is around 50% of that on BF and seeing what can happen when that's the case but knowing that it's just a one off.

Still I'm certainly not complaining. In answer to your question I certaintly cleaned up!

I saw this too but was abit slow to take advantage of it, I was worried how much to stake allowing for commission, which got me thinking if you pay the premium charge, I take it you can't take advantage of an opportunity like this?
