Hate to say it but it was great commentary by Tommo.
I had laid the Fav at 1.3 all prices down to 1.11, and greened up when the 2nd fav hit 1.1 - never in doubt :) lol

THREE D ALEXANDER in w18.30

Sire form is terrible on surface!! Guess not much else in race but at 1.25 you cant do alot of damage...might trade a bit bigger if not enjoying itself before beating the dogs off!! :BIG ,........mrgreen:

I'd concentrate your tipping to the wheelbarrow variety ;)

Cheers, didn't trade it but recorded a few races and having a look through them I feel like I'd have lost money in some spots.

Specifically I'm having a problem with a runner breaking out from it's range only for it to then turn around and hit the bottom of that range. This has led me to be really hesitant with my entry points probably as a result of losing my confidence a bit.

Hi Mugs,

I have'nt traded in the afternoon for ages as busy on other things.. But am I right in thinking that this was an evenly matched pair of favs before the off?

One was odds -around 1.5
It travelled ok, I wasn't too impressed with it's jumping - the 2nd fav was one of those horses that was on and off the bridle. I just had a feeling that if it ever got to a fight the fav would jack it in. Which is pretty much what happened. But they were so tired the last furlong they were literally both walking - the fav got back up - 2nd fav traded at 1.02

Saturday looks in the balance too with Uttoxeter already abandoned and Newbury and Warwick inspecting! Half the challenge today is going to be not falling asleep between races

Newbury and Warwick survive :) Let's hope Naas doesn't get in the way of Newbury too much
