Last night I placed a bet on Rangers in the Stranraer v Rangers match, immediately the match began Betfair closed the market thereby making it impossible for me to close my position had I been so inclined, furthermore, some 12 hours later I am still waiting for the bet to be settled by Betfair. This has happened previously to me and I have not been able to find any answers as to why this sometime occurs, can anyone help?

I'm not sure about that particular market but not all markets are turned in-play. Some markets may not turn in-play if the Betfair feed from the game fails.

Check with Betfair regarding that particular market.
