Think i'm losing the plot lol, anyway say you had 1000 monkeys and 1000 humans that are into trying trading by that i mean the humans cause monkeys are just into monkey stuff.

You give the monkeys two buttons to press lay and back and you let the humans do what they want.

Who would make the most money?? would it be close or even maybe the monkeys win?

I sometimes wonder what goes through my brain

Now that is a great thought experiment.

IMHO the results would be the same. The expected return rate is 0.95 (assuming 5% commission) per event. And so over the long run the humans and the monkeys will give their entire starting bank to BF.

Even if the human team contains Euler, JollyGreen and Mugs, the other 997 will drag down the total return, assuming they each take it in turn in using the bank.

(I got a laugh because it also reminds me of the Simpsons episode when Mr Burns had the monkeys chained to type writers and one them wrote the opening sentence to a tale of two cities).

Yep.

In reality they are "Outliers" who conform to the Gladwell 10,000 hour rule.

Thanks Guzuty, 10,000 hours are probably needed in this game, Monkeys included :D
