We have people in the office all this week so we did it live, its been a good day for catching some big moves. But generally quite 'boring' around that.

Are you waiting for the price to break or trying to anticipate it? Any bias is direction?

A bit of both. If I'm unsure as to where to enter I'll hang on until I get what I believe to be confirmation of a move which will usually be a runner breaking through it's range. Everything seems to want to reverse at this point and I'm having trouble distinguishing between general noise in the market and a genuine move from another runner.

I can't get on with Exeter today, but I'm ok on the others.

Not traded but recorded a couple of races and I can already see I'd have had my arse handed to me. I see someone was throwing £75k stacks in to the market.

I haven't traded today. Is it volatile and spoofing going on?

I'm not being funny, but what does that look like?

Surely there will be people making money and losing money in any market condition...

The advise I gave earlier for swings trades was solid. I suggested to just stick to finding value, holding a position over longer time periods and avoiding chasing short-term moves around.

I suggested to either pick a direction early (get on before a move starts), or wait until the move ends and oppose it (i.e., get on the retracement). I think that's quite reasonable.
