It says "awaiting full result" there was a stewards enquiry and the market was reopened pending the outcome.

yes but always racingpost post the first few horses incuding the winner including the "awaiting full result" and then it will post the rest of the horses , in case of a pending photo result they will not post a winner horse

There was a stewards enquiry in that race....That was a decent size stake considering you didn't fully understand the situation.

Racing Post not ideal for betting in play.

It felt a little weak TBH, I haven't sussed how it is trading this year, but hopefully will by the end of the week.

You were more than a little lucky today ;)

Remember the old saying that if it looks too good to be true it probably isn't true.

Ask yourself in such situations something like, am I the only person who has bothered to look at the Racing Post site and seen the result ahead of the people at the races, on the tv and at betfair?

Just make sure you learn the lesson for next time - I did exactly the same thing once in my very early days - I thought rather stupidly I had struck gold! Luckily I got away with it like yourself!

The 6th most popular search on Google in the UK yesterday was "Betfair". "Racing Post" was second. No other racing or bookmaking phrase made the top 16 (they only show to 16 for me).

Thought it quite interesting that Betfair was so high.

Getting filled on first race fav seems strange. Sitting in a Q with only a grand in front and many thousands matched before mine gets picked up. Am I reading this wrong?
