Hi i'm in my second month of live trading not doing to bad now after poor money management for the first 2 weeks. I've searched through the forums read as much as i can about all the aspects of trading. Just one thing i need to clear up and the other is a general question of opinion.
My first question is - Does the book move in the same increment as odds, by which i mean if a price moves 3 ticks under 2 will it shift the book by 3% or do you move the decimal to the left so it will be 0.3%?. i'm guessing it's the latter from watching the book move.
And my second question is - What are peoples general thoughts on use of the book as an indicator of where things are going within the market these days. I ask this because of the cross matching that betfair uses and in an older post i read that somebody could use the book percentage as a sole indicator of when the price was going to move, does this still apply or is it a bit more blurred since crossmatching has been implemented.
