Hi,

I've been looking for betting software that will enable me to place automated bets on football markets similar to this example:

If 80 mins have passed
AND
the home team is winning
AND
the odds of the home team is greater than 1.3
THEN
place a back bet on the home team.
(this is just an example, not exactly what I will do)

I was advised that BetAngel can do this but I've never used it before. It seems I have to do some significant research and playing with the tool before I understand how to use it effectively so before I begin I thought I should check whether or not what I want to do is even possible with BetAngel.

Can anyone help by confirming if bets like this are possible please?

Any help or advise is really appreciated.

Thanks!

Others will be able to comment on whether BA can do this with its built in rules. As for Excel and VBA - yes, what you've asked isn't complicated and all the information you need is available in the worksheet. It's simple enough to do in just formulas, or use VBA for more flexibility.

Regards

I have not done any automated bet placement as like you I have not really been shown how to do them. I do think what you have asked for BA will do. There are several videos by Peter on YouTube that show automation examples, so its worth a trawl through and picking some ideas and methods on how to do it.

As Ian has said you can do this very easily using excel, with guardian automation you are going to have issues in working out if the fav is winning.
