Man Utd vs. B Munich

We looked at our historical database of matches and found 23 matches that looked very similar (quite a small number TBH). The market is discounting a 15.2% chance of a Man Utd win, a 65.4% chance of a B Munich win and a 20% chance of a draw. Our historical data shows that a match like this has produced, in the past, a 4.3% chance of a home win, a 60.9% chance of a away win and a 34.8% chance of a draw. This converts into odds of 23.26 1.64 & 2.87 respectively.

The market is forecasting 3.04 goals. Historically there have been 2.52 goals in similar matches according to our database. The market is pricing over 2.5 goals at odds of 1.71. Historically 39.1% of similar matches ended over 2.5 goals which translates into decimal odds of 2.56. Basically, because of the nature of the return leg and the desperate need for Man Utd to score the market is anticipating an attacking performance from Man Utd.

The home team has scored at least one goal in 52.2% of matches. The away team has scored at least one goal in 87% of matches. The home team have scored two or more goals on 13% of occasions and three or more goals on 65.2% of occasions. The away team have scored two or more goals on 65.2% of occasions and three or more goals on 17.4% of occasions.Both teams have scored 52.17% of the time or decimal odds of 1.92

I read the this morning;

" The germans have scored 115 times this season at an average 2.8 goals per game hitting 32 in their last 10 matches. The last time they failed to score was more than a year ago when arsenal beat them 2-0 in the champions league last 16"

Source Daily Mail (i know :roll: , but it was better that the Sun Newspaper! :D

PSG vs Chelsea priced like two equally matched teams with PSG at home. No particularly strong feeling about this match. I guess Chelsea will try not to concede.

Carlo Ancelotti is one of the best coach in the world but, he is also responsible for some unbelievable come back ever.
Juventus vs Man utd ( 1-1 first leg) juventus lead 2-0, semifinal of champions league, to lose 2-3, giggs was the man of the match.
Deportivo la coruna vs Ac Milan ( 1-4 first leg), second leg lost 4-0.
Ac Milan Vs Liverpool, 3-0 first half, champions league final, lost an penalty after a liverpool come back, steve gerrard was the man of the match.
There may be more on his record on domestic leagues and domestic cups.
Tonight he is doing it again, dortmund currently winning 2-0, I hope for Ancelotti that his ghosts of the past won't hunt him down tonight as well.. ;)

Depends how many years it takes them to bring in a decent manager.

United are in a dangerous situation, as attracting and retaining top class footballers will become increasingly difficult with that joker in charge. No top footballer wants to play for a mid-table team who don't get to play in Europe...

Do you really think they will be a mid table side Jeff?

I actually think they will bounce back next season and I am pretty sure that Moyes will still be in charge.
