sorry missed the other posts. I normally use another interface for the ladder and in my opinion, it misses a big potential edge.

This does not answer your question but you can get the last matched bets on the same screen as the ladder - Settings - Ladder - Layout - set to "Combined". Go to ladders screen and then click "Show Enhanced Ladder" (Yellow Lightening Bolt)- you wil then get a list of your matched bets on the same screen as the ladder. Apologies if you already know this.

II do the same as John, but if you have the trading profits column enabled it shows your position anyway. Another alternative is undock the matched bets tab. It's not a visual as the way you're describing but does the job.

Seeing certain numbers in the market and how much money matches around the LTP can be useful. I'm referring to the actual amounts being traded in the market and not the amounts I have had matched.

For early weaker markets or Ausy races I find it useful to see the matched amounts of bets in the market (not my bets) as they are taken. For example if I have the front of the book at 5.8, 5.9 and money arrives on the back say for 35 pounds at 6s I sometimes see 35,immediately laid out so I find it a good time to enter a lay at 6s rather than trying to back at 6s. This money arriving and immediately taken was explained to me as a refresh issue with retrieving data from BF being slow but I find it useful to see for scalping early markets and managing my position.

If its not available already and could be implemented with an option to show the last traded amount of money matched on the ladder it would be nice.

Curious how this question is cropping up so often suddenly. I'd have to check but I am pretty sure this has to be derived so it's a function of how the software tries to calculate it.

With this and the other suggestions I guess we provide a beta version with them in so we can experiment with the implementation. We have had a number of requestions not to mess with the ladder. So we can add them but as an option probably. We will have a chat internally about it later today.

For me I have switched to using BA ladder a bit more than i use to, as I want to get my head around using the automation if I can figure out how to get my net positions offset immediately in a market. So for me its nice to see certain amounts matching especially long way from the off or weak markets as I like to sit around the gap and get in and out the middle for a couple of pennies.

I had 2 ladders open tonight trading, and find it hard to believe people just go off flashing lights. I think it would be very nice to show matched amounts for trades.
