Tonight i was trying to sort out an automation file and at the same time. I had just seen a big back bet hit the market which looked a bit "different", so I thought in warrior style with automation turned on I would use some big stakes. When I did this, my bets in the ladder kept turning themselves off and then immediately turning back on again. Does anyone know why this would be?

I know its not of any significance but just found it kind of strange.

Try logging off and on again and don't surf porn while you're trading

Ill upload a vid of it in a minute. Seemed strange. Was almost as though someone kept trying to look under my bets. I know i have my conspiracy stuff but this was well weird. I use my office comp for the porn as well!

Here is the vid. I highlight about 8 moments it keeps switching off my bets but there are more.

Notice how its only my bets that get turned off. The amounts above them dont get touched.

Edit : its the front 3 positions that keep getting turned off.

Just in case anyone doesnt understand what Im pointing out. These are in practice mode and therefore there should be no interaction with the exchange as these are virtual bets on my compter. Therefore there should be no reason for them keep disappearing as they shouldnt be seen by anyone else.

Im confused, practise mode uses an algorithm to predict if your price would get matched. It is obviously not going to work very well if you use massive bets like you have so it assumes it all gets matched.

nothing to do with getting matched. Slow it down and see how money just vanishes. These bets are in practice mode so should do nothing so they should always appear on the market.

Look at the first vid golfer, i think its a bit clearer as how money keeps checking under the current price. There are 3 prices keep disappearing. Im in practice mode so on my screen these amounts should never disappear?

OK, I can see what you mean.

At 5 seconds on the first video your resting back orders disappear for a moment.

....let me know when you go live and want to drop in 5/6 figure sums. :D

Practise mode isn't perfect especially if you are putting in massive orders like that, it has no chance in predicting if you will get matched. I don't understand why this is a problem though.

There is probably a logical explanation, but at the moment I don't know what that is. I'll have to sleep on it and have another look tomorrow.

I think I remember this race as it was one where however had control of the centre of the book completely lost it. I think somebody may have given them a shove. ;)

No big deal obviously as its only practice mode. I think I won about 1.3 mil on that race. In fact i won about 4.5 mil in total on the next few races!

Just found it strange that bets would turn off when they should only be seen on my screen. It could be used as an advantage for some if it is happening and distorting BF vision.

Since i first brought it up on the forum, I tried again a few times over the past week and noticed turning off practice bets on the API still happens. It is much quicker action than it was on the vids I uploaded previous.  To me it appears a bot or someone watching over the bots is checking what is real and whats not real before making a move.

Its not just from BA, so it wasn't a software issue and must be coming from the API.  It just isn't logical as Peter says to have practice mode bets turned off for mili seconds?
