Having watched a video on YouTube about using a relatively small bank
To perform large trades, rightly or wrongly I have it ago on the t20 and also on shorties in tennis. Lay low for thousands trade out for 1 tick per in play.
Very successful. Stakes I was using managed around £9.00 to £18 per tick. Awesome. On the 5 markets I did on 4 of the sub 1.10 favs either lost or traded 4.0+ and could have made me thousands!
Now I know I did the correct process for the strategy I was employing but my god it's hard to look past 'what might have been'! I have stuck these in the category of fate not being on my side but how woul the rest of you guys class this.
Think I'm just looking for some 'closure' to move on hahahaha
How would you class this?
This strategy is IMHO picking up pennies in front of the steamroller.
The very trade that you massively increase your stake is almost guaranteed to move against you. Then you start to sweat. Surely the favourite will stumble a little. Surely. What's that, they are powering towards the line. But you don't red out, you hold on until you walk away very very angry .....
Observe your strategy over a decent number of markets. I'd be thinking 2000 as a sample size, not 5. Slowly increase your stakes as your confidence in the strategy rises. I am not aware of any strategy with a 100% success rate. My own trading is about 70% positive rate. My average loss is slightly higher than my average win.

No no I agree with you in every essence. This was very controlled 1 tick moves pre off very stable markets never ever letting it go in play. It was the feeling of bad luck or fate not being with me not the actual trading strategy I was looking for opinions on.
These short priced favs are short priced favs for a reason after all.

Can I also note that in my original post at some point it say '1 tick per in play' it was meant to say pre in play 'NOT IN PLAY'
