Anyone notice the £20,000 bet in the final 10 seconds, smashing Kung Hei Fat Choy (4.30 Southwell)from 4's down to 3.15?
Same thing happened yesterday in Windsor 4.30.

was hardly smashing if its the one i think it was. Was also a big lay bet the race before that was taken and then looked like they struggled to sell out for about 6gs 5 mins before the off.James1st wrote:Anyone notice the £20,000 bet in the final 10 seconds, smashing Kung Hei Fat Choy (4.30 Southwell)from 4's down to 3.15?

I had a really good day today in terms of P&L
I had a 3 hour virtual meeting with a US customer via citrix meeting and had my VPS open at the side on my screen. I was using the internal speakers and VOIP..
All was going well and with about 20 people in the meeting, I suddenly heard Peter's voice saying "This event will start in five minutes, five minutes"
I must remember to turn that off in future!

Good sales pitch. Did they sign within the 5 mins allocated?
In wasn't a bet. It was a market re-adjustment to 2 non runners at once.James1st wrote:Anyone notice the £20,000 bet in the final 10 seconds, smashing Kung Hei Fat Choy (4.30 Southwell)from 4's down to 3.15?

Pearl Nation (USA) 4/1
Kerbaaj (USA) 20/1
deduction of 20p in the pound on Board Prices
Was just going to say that the 2 WD horses. I think what happened was Pearl Nation was 2nd fav. When the market readjusted because it's nearest rival had gone the RF adjust didn't reflect it's true odds. If I remember right it bounced a bit after this too. Sharp trading.gutuami wrote:In wasn't a bet. Thanks. I didn't have my TV on the racing at the time but why did they form a new market so close to the off (11 seconds pre post)?
The other issue is that the Matched bets shows a £20K difference between 12 and 11 seconds, not sure how that happens when the odds are reset.

To days racing was different ,
im only now getting kinda good at this after 3 years and approx 11,000 hours in markets, and thousands in the red,but i love it ,i love every minute of it,
hexam today was good for me ,despite repeating my biggest repative mistake of laying in running and losing 267.00 in one trade i still came out ahead ,small 30.00 profit but not so bad considering my loss,
I was late to market ,and missed almost all the moves to day, and some were massive, dont know how i will ever manage to trade a market off in 3 mins and watch the 2 next markets ,checking the draw,is he a front runner or hold up ?what percentage he trades in running ? can people do that ? without automation and being like a flipping alien -Rainman kinda person ?
jesus christ honestly how does mr webb do it,and make blogs and all those other things, if i could get to 15% of that i would be a happy man,
long story short.markets have changed alot in the last couple of weeks and will again for a while .no form 2 -3 year olds acting the bollocks, running off like a scalded cat, before the off just the second you backed the bastard,
good night all,,!!

Why was it still trading in play? It wasnt even running. I got a screen shot of it but not got photoshop on this comp to cut it. Almost all the race there was money matching between 300-500. I know it was tiny amounts but was strange. Usually when a horse is out of the race there will be 200+ sat at 1000
