Betfair Points

How does the betfair points system work? I've just looked through my statement and I havnt received any points whatsoever.Every transaction has a points total of zero. I'm only trading for small stakes usually £2.50 up to £10 and occasionally up to £50 so maybe this is why.

I've just spoken to some clown on the betfair helpdesk who just kept repeating that at the end of the week my points will decay by 15% of which I understand. What I want to know is how the points are earned in the first place.

If your returns after commission are £10.55 - you will get 5 points

You get 1 point for every full 2 pounds won

Likewise, you get the same for every bet lost
Therefore, if you'd lost £15.25 on a bet, you would get 7 Betfair points
