The odds on all the current favourites winning in the scoop six are 25,000 to one for a £15m pool. A value bet if I ever saw one.

NZ did have something similar - it was called 'Pick 6' here, but the amounts on offer never reached those sums.

Despite not being a UK resident, I went to the Tote section on Betfair on the UK page and it appears I can bet on 'Scoop 6' from overseas. Interesting.

Of course if the favourites all won, the pot would presumably have to be shared among more people?

I think the way to go is to cut down the permutations by picking solid anchors for 2 or 3 legs, then opting for value in the form of a few longer-odds selections in the other legs.

An astute punter of Jolly-Green level abilities just might be able to pull this off and scoop the lot?

Well what does it cost , 2 pounds per line? Then it appears to be a good bet. But you'd need to have a lot of cash to cover enough lines to have a decent chance of winning?

Two big-money Betfair users won Scoop6 according to the Guardian. Quite likely premium charge players right here on the Betangel forum.

"The three betting shop punters who were made instant millionaires on Saturday have finally come forward...The remaining five successful tickets were held by three syndicates and two high-rolling users of Betfair"
