Hi please help.

I have been using the attached rule on the days racing card uk/ire successfully for the last 2 days I started with a $5 stake worked. I gain 40% on my bank in the day. Tried again the next day with a $6.34 stake representing 50% of my bank it worked really well and I earned 120% in the day. So today I upped stakes again to 13.95 again 50% of my bank and it failed to fire the properly. It did not place the offsetting bet? due to not having the exposure? That would only be the case if the offsetting bet is being fired before the original bet matches.

And before you ask my betfair limits are sufficient to handle this stake.

Please advise what is wrong. Log is below rule attached.

01/07/2014 15:12:36: $ 13.95 Back bet placed on Corton Lad at 3.35. Entirely unmatched when it initially reached the market. Ref: 38850012481 ( Offsetting by 1 ticks with greening. )

I haven't downloaded the file but from the log it can be seen that the first bet was placed and was not matched. The offset bet was immediately placed after that hence the exposure problem.

You need to have 'Place fill or kill' enabled for the offset only to be triggered when the first bet is matched.

Hi LinusP

Thanks for that advice. If I use the "kill or fill" function is there a setting I can use to trigger the offset bet as soon as the original bet is matched. That is can the offset bet be triggered before the fill or kill time is up?

Give 'batch' a value as well, then initial bet will be placed and as soon as it gets matched the offset will be placed. If the first bet isn't matched within the 'fill kill' time then it will be cancelled.
