Hello, to y'all!

I'm a newbie at this forum, although I'm using BA for a quite while. Lately, I was experimenting with some strategies and they came out good, but...they could deliver even better. Let me explain:

Depending on stats, I choose a horse or horses 15 to 1o minutes before the off and I exit the trade at exactly 5 mintues before the off, just as Peters voice claim '...in five minutes'. My stats are showing good results using this strategy, but the reason it could get even better is this:

I enter the trade at best back price and exit at best lay price. Example for 100 units: Back @1.57, Lay @1.5 = 4.67 in profit or Back @2.78, Lay @2.8 = -0.71 lost. But it all could been different if I play it risky way and try to trade at second best Back & Lay market price, and above mentioned trades would resulted in 5.33 and 0.00. So best price trades 3.95 in profit, and second best market prices 5.33 in profit. As there is around 40 trades a day you can get the picture. Some days I end at -23 per hundred unit if I match only best prices, and if I could match the second ones I would end in +30 per hundred unit or it ends at +25 and if I could match what I want +150.

Of course second best market prices are not matchable always. If I try a back bet and price starts to come in at that moment it would leave me out of the trade far from profit at zero which is even good in what missed lay bet can turn to if price starts to drift with me beached at my asking price.

What I'm looking for is to reduce this risk to a minimum and try to match my back and lay bet at second best price. So my question to you all experience traders is: Is there a tip how to match second
best price and make the price of a horse to go our way for one tick?

I believe there is few good ones in this forum at scalping posts but I couldn't find any so if there is a thread about this please refer me to one.

Thank you all!

Peter put up a video recently that may be of use for bot baiting

You can actually bait bots in a number of ways in my opinion. If you are a value backer or layer it is quite easy to get a price movement up or down. The bots tend to move against small amounts but move away from bigger amounts which is probably why people moan about fill rate?

Thank you all!

I thought that is something like that as I saw such high value stakes entering a trade and after that price would drift or come in rapidly.

Thanks again,
