I was just wondering if the general settings stop the client from refreshing more than 15 times a second.
Say I have 10 markets conneced to a spreadsheet, refreshing all at once. Will I stay under the data request limit set by betfair of 20 (only 15 requests in total)? Or would the requests add up, to say 10 x 15 requests per second = 150 requests per second?

The maximum number of calls made is set within the communications area of the settings editor.
You could have 100 markets in Guardian/Excel and the number of calls will not exceed the value set.
When you have multiple markets in Guardian/Excel these are not refreshed with data simulutaneously but are refreshed in cycles one after the other which allows the required data to keep below the chargable threshold.
