don't know if this has been mentioned before or you can already do it? but i have been experimenting with a new strategy and thought it might be an idea to have a right click feature to place an order. you would select your stake as normal with left click but you could also select a stake with right click which could be shaded a different colour. so say you was looking for a lay you could place your lay bet ( lets say £200) then straight away you could place your back bets with the right click ( say £20) straight away. i know people might say well the stake's are only above the ladder but i feel it may just help keep you with the flow. just a thought.

not sure why you would wish to back with 20 and lay with 200.

you can probablly do this with an autohotkeys script. you can certainly re-map the mouse right click to another another key ie the alt key, and have the alt key launch a script.

for scaling out of a position while the price is drifting. i didn't mean lay 200 and then just back for 20, i meant placing in alot more orders further up the ladder. just a case of firing in your closing orders that bit quicker.

did not realise you meant scaling out.

in principle you could use something like autohotkeys macro recorder, to record the action you would do to select a stake from the stake box's (ie a box with £20 as the stake), then save it as a macro, and then re-assign the mouse right click to to the macro you created, and hopefully everytime you right click the macro with the £20 stake fires and in the blink of an eye, move up to the stake box,s and selectyour 20 pound stake.

but it would seem to me to be a lot of work for little or no advantage.

its worth having a look at autohotkeys it can be useful, for instance i use a script for dundalk and wolves sandbggers.

both tracks can be really volatile and unreadable at a drop of a hat, and i have a script that drops a stop loss 9 ticks away instantly.

have a look you may be able to do it.

I scale out using multiples of a base stake, but obviously that's all on the top of the ladder.

The right click is currently used for putting in a stop loss / market on the ladder.

I like to be able to hover over the selection im trading and just type a number on the keypad and it changes my stakes for fast moving markets. I presume it would just be some ajax or similar programing language to do something like this? It would be a nice addition to the ladder.
