IMHO Man Utd seem to be in a similar position to Liverpool at the end of their era?

Transfer News:

Manchester Utd and Juventus have made an agreement on Vidal, only a Real Madrid offer would hinder the move; as Alonso is looking like he is off to Bayern. They are also bidding for Carvalho.

Chelsea to sign Destro, Torres to AC Milan.

Arsenal have agreed a fee for Cavani, just if they can agree the personal terms.

Liverpool have bid for Micah Richards. Only God knows why, isn't he worse than Johnson?

Good day for Man Utd fans today :D

Cleverley to Aston Villa for 8 MILLION (should be 8 pounds).
Kagawa is looking like he is off to Dortmund.
Hernandez is either going to Juve or Valencia.
Welbeck is going on loan to either Everton or Tottenham.

I have just gained a little bit of respect back for Woodward now!

I guess LVG yelling in your ear for the last few days gets pretty wearing after awhile.

But it strikes me that Man U are gambling (with money they don't appear to have) big time to get back into the champions league at any cost....what if they don't make it? :|

I'm amazed to see Diego Costa looking so sharp - he looks like a 50 year-old Kebab shop owner, not a footballer

People doubting LVG and Man Utd will get bitten in the backside sooner rather than later. In his first 4 games with Bayern, he had only won one, insisting that his philosophy would take time. At the end of the season, Bayern had won the Bundesliga, won the German Cup and were finalists in the Champions League (not that Man Utd are in the CL anyways ;) )

Yep.

To understand the present, you have to understand the past...

Exactly. It happened at Barcelona, AZ Alkmaar and Bayern!

Hearing Falcao has joined United, I think the 18.5 is a bit too long now ;)
