Every time I back something the price instantly drifts, every time I lay something the price instantly shortens. Doesn't matter how or when I enter, the market goes against me like clockwork. Been at this for years and never known a period like this it's ridiculous. Great though this software is, it could be time to give up. Just thought I'd share, it can't be just me, you can't all be winning, can you ?

The trend is your friend until the end. So I'm always looking for the formation of one rather than than jumping in on one.

one thing that has helped me is to video your trades and analyse them later...

It's impossible to be wrong all the time :) your just not maximising the up side or minamizing the down side.

Like others have said try recording some data and trying to make sense of it.

Its important to realise that you will more or less break even simply by trading at random in the long term.

so if your performance is worst than this, look at reasons why ;)

Simply, the only difference between a losing trader and a profitable one is when to trade out ;)

Hope you can get a change of luck :)

Thanks for replies, having a bad spell and one particular race yesterday just blew my top and made me want to vent. Onwards and upwards, best wishes to all.

Don't worry - trading has the effect on all of us at times

Just keep telling yourself that the word 'Fuck' is the most versatile word in the English language!
