Evening All

I'm currently considering signing up to Bet Angel. Tennis is the sport which I trade the most and I am very interested in trying to develop an automated system.

First I need to do some back testing. Could somebody tell me:
a) is it possible to use Bet Angel for back testing?
b) does Bet Angel hold any historical tennis data and, if not, where is the best place to get this?

I'm particularly interested in analysing in-play price fluctuations in the women's game.

Many thanks in advance for an guidance available,

I am working on a basic back testing excel spreadsheet with 1 sec interval price changes. You need to record the data first and then make a simulator to read the data and test it with a strategy. The simulator also need to record the virtual bets and then calculate the profit/loss result for each market. It is not easy but both can be done with excel.

Fracsoft sell timestamped historical betfair data.

Ive never bought any I use the free data from Betfair but this only has last time that a price was matched.

Would be interested to knoe if anyone ghas backtested a strategy using Fracsofts data.

You have got Tennis trader to model a match, so there isn't much value in buying just the odds movement data I would have thought.
