API-NG is coming up soon...

Dear all,

Being a MAC user I have been using another software for a while but I am getting a PC workstation and I am hesitating in between two softwares, including yours.

The future is the API-NG, november or a month later, it doesn't really matter. I wanted to make sure of two things 1) API-NG will be supporter as soon as the old API will be disabled 2) the application is still in active development?

When (roughly) do you think it will be used in betangel?
Is it likely to be in the new year?

I understand that you can place multiple bets on a single selection simultaneously..amongst many other things

We've not been happy with various elements of it from a performance perspective or in respect of Betfair omitting certain key requirements, so we need Betfair to address those before we can do a proper release.

We've seen a couple of other releases but very poorly implemented, so we are keen not to go down that route. As you know it's as important to us as our customers so we want to get it the best we can.

While calls are unlimited there are certain other restrictions, so we are deep into working through how to best put this together.

So when Betfair says the new API-NG has to be implemented in November that means they are stopping the old API or it will still be in use?

In the first cast you would have to release the new API-NH BetAngel asap, in the other case, you can polish and make sure it runs smoothly...

Betfair say they are going to turn off the old API on 1st November. But we already have an NG version of Bet Angel, just not all the things we want in it.
