Excellent viewing

It's always pleasing to the average football fan to see one of the big clubs having meltdowns

I sensed that Moyes was clueless - and from Ferdinand's recent comments, so did the players. I sense that Van Gaal is turning things around. He just need to sort out the defense - either by getting the defenders to do their jobs properly, or replacing them with players who will.

If Ferguson had came back in at the start of the season how well do you think they would be doing?

It's really impossible to say.

Fergie was a great manager, but there were also periods under him when United underperformed. If you've got a group of defenders who aren't keeping goals out, there's only so much you can do until the next transfer window.

I think the most amazing thing is the mugs who backed Chelsea at 1.55 in the Winners Market  And someone likes Everton a bit too much, as before Sunday's games there was a massive spike and there were hundreds matched at 34.0 :o I thought there was 38 games and not 5

Manchester United's defence has no leadership, no discipline, no set system and no top-class players

Next game is a must win against West Ham who have been doing considerably well away. I think I read that Leicester only had 5 shots on target as well, so I think everyone is overreacting a little bit.

No one has seemed to mention how good Arsenal have started the season, no losses yet playing tricky teams such as Everton, Villa, City and don't forgot Leicester. If I remember correctly, after the International break, Arsenal have a very easy run, same can't be said for United though.

Louis van Gaal slates Rafael after conceding soft penalty - http://www.givemesport.com/505759-louis ... ft-penalty

Interesting - Fergie would never single out an individual player for public criticism.

Rafael is in good company though - the other day, VG criticised Rooney and Mata.

I hope it doesn't prove counter-productive.

I know some people say you can't win anything with kids, but United's history suggests otherwise... ;)

That was different Jeff. Its unlikely so many players of the quality that came through when Scholes, Butt, Neville's, Beckham will ever come through at the same time again. The dreams over mate. It was a good ride whilst it happened, time to get a new team!

Looks like all the Man Utd haters are out and about at the minute. Lots of positives for United out of that Leicester game, but it wouldn't surprise me if Utd go a goal down, causing everyone to panic, and then we win comfortably.

Interesting historical fact.

Fergie was inspired to give Becks, Scholes, etc a chance to shine after he was inspired by a manager who had won the Champions League with a young squad - a guy by the name of Van Gaal...

I wouldn't bet against VG having some eager and talented young players waiting in the wings.
