VPS is it good

I have been thinking for a while now about VPS is it better than my standard BT Infinity, can i use it on my laptop out and about, how does it work and how do you connect to it after buying

Is it good, yes, yes it is (IMHO). Note I am not relying on a millisecond advantage.
