Hi,
Sorry about so many questions!
I put backs and lays on two horses in a race and I kept my unmatched bets in-play.
I had the 'confirm' switched off and the 'green' switched on.
I was making a loss of 50p and decided to green out - except it only worked on one horse. I didn't realise until a few seconds later, by which time the other horse was well on its way to winning the race and I had an unmatched lay on it. (I didn't lose much, but of course, I need to understand this before I do more serious betting).
I am pretty sure when I've switched 'confirm' on, that it asks me to confirm two horses if there are two unmatched bets, so what happened here?
Thanks very much if anyone has time to read all this and help out.
How does greening up work, please
Thanks for replying.
I used the one-click screen and clicked on the green box, then clicked just below where it says 'Trade Profit'.
I just had a thought about what might have happened. Maybe I greened out and then a second later my outstanding bet got matched?
However, I just did something similar to test this theory and my unmatched bet got cancelled the moment I greened out.
Do you think the problem happened because of the split second timing?
