GREEN_ALL function
Doe anyone know whether the GREEN_ALL global command in Excel functions in the same manner as trading out by ticking the Green box in One-Click Betting? I ask because the latter seems to work consistently in-play in that it always seems to stop things happening and realises a fairly even profit or loss, whereas the GREEN_ALL function in Excel seems much more haphazard in closing trades and can send some really large bets winging in that remain unmatched. I know part of the problem is attempting to green up during in-play (because of one second delay in horse-racing); but as I say this doesn't seem to be a problem in the One-Click screen. I hasten to add that I'm in practice mode when experimenting in this area.
No response so far. I'm guessing that the problem may be that whereas the manual green-up is a single action, it is difficult to replicate this on a spreadsheet where greening-up for example after a certain time would keep firing the command in.
The GREEN_ALL function in Excel runs exactly the same process as clicking one of the greening buttons on the one-click screen when the 'Green' check box is ticked. All open positions (based on net stake) are closed and any profits from those positions are hedged into the market to spread the profit/loss across the book.
Hello again. I still have a problem. My spreadsheet is designed to Green_All if the P&L exceeds a certain amount after x seconds into the race. It keeps on firing once the condition is met - whereas this is not a problem if you green up manually. Any advice welcome.
