Betfair API Down

Having some problems here now. The strange thing is that the website is running perfectly, but BetAngel is lagging so much. Also, when I put in a bet below $5 to close the trade, it will just lay at 1.01. Confused, so I'm just going to monitor it and see how it plays out.

Yes. Problems again placing bets on the ladder. Definitely a Betfair issue as other platforms are exactly the same. Shame, as I was doing quite nicely. Back to bed for me!

Exactly right Fuzzer. I only had 1 loss so very :cry: it went out. You'd have thought that a company as big as Betfair wouldn't have so many issues, one yesterday, one today.

N, excuse the language but I'm flipping furious. How can you have an SP then fail to honor it? -340 but I know others much worse off.

@betangel The SP will be manually reconciled, we are looking to resolve this as quickly as we can.

Can anybody affected keep me up to date on what happens. I'm keen to see if they apply a universal fix or not.

not a huge hit for me only £37.00, would have been much less at sp.. groovy

Unfortunately due to an issue with the BSP figures at Lingfield today we were unable to offer this race in-play, as such your unmatched bets were unable to be placed at the SP as we did not have these figures and as such have been lapsed.

I am willing to offer you a £35 free bet for your inconvenience as these bets lapsing did affect your market position however as we do not guarantee the ability to trade on bets will be there this is the best we can offer.

i just got of the phone from betfair and they will not be manually reconciling sp for the lingfield 15:00 dispite their tweet.

@betangel The BSP didn't reconcile and the win market didn't go in-play.

We had to reconcile the win market and the fix is in the process.

just had a updated call.

seems sometime tomorrow my account will be amended/bsp bets honoured. cant be done tonight.

thanks peter i suspect your and betangels influence as had a bearing on them manually reconcilling and honouring their bsp. :)
