hi kroni - do you mean when you place a back bet (or could be lay) then the offset lay (or back) bet is also automatically matched?

cheers

no, its not automatically matched just automatically placed as to get 1 tick profit when/if its matched. Some markets seem to move so fast that both bets just get swallowed up instantly, but i doubt its quite the same with larger stakes

You can't have both bets automatically matched. Otherwise you'd be able to literally print money wherever you decide to enter. That's why your entry point is important.

Los> thanks. my understanding too - buyer bears the risk of unmatched second part of the bet.

Euler> in fairness, the phrasing "fill or kill" underneath the offset bet dropdown box is a tad misleading. It should say "Fill or kill first part of offset" or something along those lines.

Also the Bet Angel guide is not quite right:
By using the fill or kill feature not only can you ensure your bet is filled but you can make sure any second offset bet conditional on the successful placement of the first order.
think this should say the second offset bet is placed "but not necessarily met"??

Cheers

Thanks, we will look to make it clearer.

When we created it, we did so with the thought, I want to fill the whole order and / or kill any remaining elements before offsetting. So that's where the term fill or kill came from. Believe it or not this was the first 'advanced' feature we added to the product way back when.

Euler> sounds good

One extra thought that may help re-wording: fill or kill is a recommended "safety net". It prevents an unprofitable offset lay being placed before the back is matched. This can happen when prices are reducing and/or the tick size is small... etc

Hello. Could someone tell me how to reverse the ladder

I used to use the ladder on that software and find it very confusing on the angel, so tell me where to reverse it ?

Go to 'odds display' or 'force open' on the main screen

Click on it and set it to 'reverse'.

Tanks. Thats more liked. Now - how can I forse the ladder to center the price when I click on it - I need the center, not the one where I go. Also I'd like the ladder to auto-center when the price go too high or low.

Press enter on your keyboard to centre the ladder.

Well that will actually slow me even more :P Ok - is there a way for auto-center the ladder when the price soars or dive ?
Also I would like not to see this -

To remove it so my program to be without it and I could easily see the other features. I don't need it actually

despite these minor problems I find the Betangel trader very good. The performance (which is the most important for me) is fine and I can trade properly and make money. Good Job! (pro trader here)

Thanks for the feedback.

The best way to get rid of the stuff at the top of the screen is to undock the ladder. Click on the far top right of the ladder screen and you will see the undock button there. That maximises the ladder to full screen and no other stuff.

We don't have an autocentre setting in the software directly but it would be easy it to add one. We just were concious that we didn't want people clicking prices while the ladder was jumping all over the place.

I didn't mean exactly that - the ladder go center only when it reach the top price of the ladder which is shown on the screen. It goes center only when it reach the lower price which is shown too.
And in addition - it is doing only when the mouse is not on that ladder - if the mouse is on it, it never goes center. If the mouse move to another ladder + the center price is not shown (both conditions should be met), because its too high or too low, than it centers too.
