API not showing the correct amount

for tha last 2 days i noticed a change at the prices showing on the api , for example when i place 500 euro i can see on the ladder 498 if 1000 it shows 996 its always 2 euro shorter every 500

anyone know why this change at the prices ?

Often there is 'loose' money hanging around at those prices. So even if nothing appears to be there when you place a bet you take the money that is there but not displayed. Currently you will not see a bet if it totals less than £2.

i can say for 100% that this is not the case because doesnt matter where i place my money and which price im always 2 euro shorter every 500, lay side or back side its not like it happening once a while it happens in every sigle bet i place for the last 2 days , if i place 250 i see 249 if 500 i see 498 if 5000 then 4979

Can you work out if its a fixed percentage each time. Are you able to confirm this?

yes its always a fixed 2 euro shorter every 500 i place on the ladder

1f 250 then 249

if 500 then 498

if 1000 then 996

if 2000 then 1992

if 6000 then 5977

and goes like this always shorter this happens for the last 2 days

OK, this appears to be 0.4% out on each. Currency issue of some sort. We will have a look.

hi , just an update today the prices changed again its still shorter but less than the last 2 days here is a pic to compare with last noght pic i send

Got to be some sort of currency issue. We are going to open a euro account and test it. At least the unmatched bet amount is correct!

as you can see last night on the 2000 was short 8 euro showing 1992 and today its 4 euro shorter showing 1996

Betfair are now 'working on' this problem. It is confirmed as a Betfair issue.
