I think I have been on BA for while now so I can be allowed to let off a bit of steam. What is going on with all the version changes! Since BF changed their API my pictures are pointless as constantly sticking, the markets freeze and then jump all over the place, not all rider info present ie stall, colours etc. I thought that BA were just trying to keep up with BF fannying around and therefore there will be teething problems with different versions but I now notice that the current version should be 1.37.4 and not 1.37.5 which I downloaded last weekish. Is BA now as good as its going to be coz if so I will then get in touch with BF. As I am not computor literate I do not know who to blame so would appreciate guidance as to who I can rant and rave at. First trade of the day 143 red due to sticky market and pictures. I have been patient over last couple of weeks but now I want blood. If you computor geeks feel it is BA to blame then come support get your arses into gear you are playing with peoples money here.

could it be your broadband causing the problems? i cant see any problems at all (touch wood). i have traded or looked at every horse race so far today

with the old api i used to have response time between 330-450 with the new api went down to 270-350 big improvement from my side , maybe its your provider as
to75ne suggested , just play with caution if you experiencing huge delays

1.37.0 was the new NG version, since then there have been 5 tweaks so the current version is 1.37.5. NG is requires more resources that API 6 so that be a factor in your experience.

1.37.5 is stable apart from issues that Betfair have to resolve, which now seem to mainly be problems with the aussie API.

One of the advantages of not being computor literate is it stops you from playing with things that you dont understand. Therefore I have not changed anything that would have affected the internet over the last few weeks. Interesting how you guys are ok with it though and I can see where you are coming from. We have very limited internet in the village but have not experienced problems like this before. I have removed both BA and BF and reloaded them and my son (who, when in, is never offline on his xbox has not got any problems). Strange it only happened around the time of the new API.

Roger, the later BA versions require more resources from your computor, i.e. CPU speed, RAM, etc. I found my ageing P4 machine wasn't up to running versions after 1.34 without freezing. So have been putting off this latest release until the last minute. I get around it by using a 2nd machine for pictures from Betdaq.

Deeppockets thanks for posting. I would go along with that if I didnt have a new machine (computor). I also have a mac that I run at same time and its pants on both of them. I appreciate all the posts, please keep them coming. Do I have to change something on my pc and mac?

You are not alone Roger. I now have a second computer running ready for the next freeze. Only once so far today thankfully.
