took 3-4 ticks profit on some races coz I knew I layed at bottom, even in last race could have easily got 2 ticks profit but I thought its gonna drift more but it got backed heavily in last 2 minutes and I let it go in playspreadbetting wrote:K, I'm guessing a lot of that £4 profit was from taking shortcuts, also. You'll never make it as a trader if you don't knock these bad habits on the head soon, that's twice in a couple of days you've let things go in play by being too stubborn to take a red.
Newbie you are new to trading, to make £10 per day you would have to trade £2 about 500 times a day in total about £1000 put into the markets.newbietrader wrote:1 tick hardly gives me 0.01-0.02£ with 2£ stakes
nah I'm willing to put in work bro just needed lil help from you guys and wanted to know if its possible or I need to take my expectation down, id like to make more but after I'm confident enough, yea I thought soon price gonna drift but liverpool was too good for palacefumanshoe66 wrote:your fooling yourself newbie. you want to make 10er a day, you want winning stratigies, you want people to show you how to make money but not much only a few quid, but you have also said in time you want to make much more??
how unlucky were you in that football match a goal so quick?
What you really want is free money no such thing my friend. unless your prepared to learn the hard way which takes time your gonna fail and drive us all mad in the meantime..![]()
£7 per trade marko? then I'll make around 0.06£ per trade?marko236 wrote:Newbie you are new to trading, to make £10 per day you would have to trade £2 about 500 times a day in total about £1000 put into the markets.newbietrader wrote:1 tick hardly gives me 0.01-0.02£ with 2£ stakes
To make £10 a day i would use about £7 per trade, but remember your new to this and the more money you risk per trade could mean you lose more money.
I lose when I let it in playgutuami wrote:when you get it wrong 1 tick hardly takes from you 0.01-0.02£ with 2£ stakes but you somehow manage to loose 2.56 if I remember correctly in one go. Think about that.newbietrader wrote:1 tick hardly gives me 0.01-0.02£ with 2£ stakes
it's clear that you go inplay. Why do you do it? That's not clear. You're using 2pound stakes not to make money but to study the market. So forget the word profit for the moment. All you take care of is your losses. If you make lots of them that lots of info for your study. Why do you make them? When? On what markets, what odds. Why you entered the market why exited, which runner you traded.. so many whys that you should have a clear answer to. Remember a loss is a mirror trade of a profit. And I'd suggest to forget about inplay, at least for a while. Every time you go inplay you screw your pre race stats and records which you should made. Also the time that you spend learning also costs you at least £6.50/hour (minimum wage in uk). Take that into consideration also. If you're not doing it properly better spend that time doing something else.newbietrader wrote:I lose when I let it in playgutuami wrote:when you get it wrong 1 tick hardly takes from you 0.01-0.02£ with 2£ stakes but you somehow manage to loose 2.56 if I remember correctly in one go.
