Carling cup quarter finals
Yep, wasn't really a surprise.
As a Wednesday fan, it does seem a little strange how both Sheffield teams seem to elevate their performances in the cup, but are lacking in consistency in the league.
But what has happened to Southampton? Obviously they had a run of tough fixtures in the premiership which has sapped their confidence?
Do you think Morgan Scheiderlin's injury upset the balance of the team? Although I see he was back tonight after their losing run it's always tough to change the momentum.
Tadic was awesome during their great run early season, his linkup play with Pelle was impressive. Prompted me to put him in my Fantasy Football team - which of course put the voodoo on him and mean't he then went on a run without assists.
Are team's man marking Tadic to shut him down or his form has just dipped?
