Hi,
What is the difference between scalping and swing trades please?
I've seen videos on both, but these didn't help.
Sorry if this is something everyone knows, but they're not explained in the manual.
Thanks.

Scalping is picking up a tick or more profit on a single horse ie. backing @ 4.1 laying at 4.0 for a 1 tick profit. Swing trading is taking advantage of the opposing price movements of generally the first and second fav. in a race. Especially when the 1st and second favourites in a race are both short prices a strong movement in one direction on one of them is reflected by a similar move by the other but in the opposite direction. So a swing trader would be trying back in the direction of a favourite going shorter and lay the second favourite which is drifting. The idea is that you increase you profit by taking advantage of one effect on the market. You still have to be careful as market does'nt always react in such a way.
